Jodi Jones is our Music leader and her husband Bill accompanies Linda with his beautiful guitar playing.  We are blessed to have this husband and wife team lead our services as we praise HIM with our songs.

Jodi is also one of our Children's Sunday School Teachers.

Olivia has been happily married for four years and has a passion for rescuing animals and loves her dogs and chickens.  She is a CASA volunteer and spends her free time with her nieces and nephews. She comes to us with plenty of experience in working with children.  She was a youth development specialist with the Boys and Girls club, worked in special education and afterschool programs and as classroom facilitator. We are so happy to have Olivia join our team.    

Pastor Michael Bedevian came to serve Wesleyan Methodist Church in Crockett, our new church start, and First Methodist Church in Trinity, Texas in January of 2023.   Born in Houston, Texas, he got his first taste of ministry at a suburban Houston church, where he served as Youth Director.  There he met the love of his life, Linda, and was united in marriage in 1983.   Together, they began their journey, heading to Dallas where Michael earned a Masters Degree of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology.  

 Michael’s first calling is to help others discover the truths in Scripture and he is committed to preaching Bible based messages.  “Using God’s truths as a guide to our daily walk is the key to discovering our unique calling and purpose.  It’s the only way we can truly enjoy the abundant life our Lord has promised each of us.”  From the very beginning of Michael’s ministry, he has been passionate for mission work, serving in over 25 trips within the United States, Mexico and Central America. In addition, he has created several Wheelchair Ramp Building ministries in numerous churches across East Texas.  

 Michael and Linda started a family shortly after seminary.  They were blessed with three children who they managed to navigate through the muddy waters of life as a preacher’s kid.  With the grace of God, they got all three daughters through college degrees and they are all living their own dreams.     Lauren, the oldest, is a Children’s Ministry Director in Houston, Kristen, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Portland, OR., and Cathryn, is a Charter School Administrative Assistant in Austin. 

 Linda has been serving right along with Michael from the beginning, leading Bible Study groups and using her musical gifts in choir and playing piano. Together, they have served churches in the Houston area and across East Texas for over 30 years.   

Shannon is our first secretary of Wesleyan Methodist Church.  Although, not new to the position as she has been a church secretary for 4 years prior to coming to Wesleyan.  She has been married to Greg for 33 years and has 3 grown children.  Her pride and joy are her grandchildren, Maddie and Joey and a new one on the way.  She is a retired photographer and loves gardening and swimming and her family. "I love helping get our new church get up and running. It is a privilege to be a part of the Global Methodist Church and the fine people of Wesleyan Methodist".

Linda Bedevian, the beautiful wife of Paster Bedevian, is our very talented pianist and adds so much beauty to our music ministry here at Wesleyan.
